The APPDATA or application data is a standard windows directory that provides a standard storage path for applications.

Under Windows XP/2000/2k3 the APPDATA path can be found:

• C:\Documents and Settings\bob\AppData (if your username is bob and windows is installed under c:)

Under Windows Vista it can be found under:

• C:\Users\bob\AppData\Roaming

Synapse usage

Synapse uses the APPDATA path to store the config files, log files and temporary files.

The Synapse directory can be found under APPDATA\Peltarion\Synapse
